Family Manager / Nanny

Position Overview

A dedicated and proactive individual is sought to support a busy family with childcare and household management. The role involves caring for three children—a boy aged 12 and two girls aged 6 and 10—while ensuring a well-organized home environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of childcare, including school drop-offs and pickups, homework assistance, and engaging in recreational activities.
• Manage household tasks such as meal preparation, grocery shopping, and other daily chores to maintain a clean and orderly home.
• Coordinate schedules to accommodate the children’s activities and the family's overall needs.
• Provide occasional overnight care and manage situations where a child may be home sick.
• Be flexible in working hours, including occasional weekend evenings and staying late one night a week.

Work Schedule

The position requires a commitment of 35-40 hours per week, with specific timing based on the following:

• During the school period: Monday to Friday, starting between 12:00-14:00 until approximately 20:00.
• One evening per week until 23:00.
• Occasional weekend evenings and infrequent overnight stays (every 2-3 months).
• Full-time availability during school holidays from 09:00 to 18:00.

Vacation and Contract Details

The successful candidate will enjoy vacation time typically aligned with the family's schedule, including 1-2 weeks at Christmas, 1 week in February, 3 weeks in summer (July/August), and 1 week during either spring or October.

This role will be secured through an indefinite contract, based in the family apartment located in Morges, which is conveniently accessible from the train station.
