We are looking for a professional to enhance and drive the execution of marketing and activation initiatives for our premier art fairs in Basel and Paris. This role combines practical delivery with strategic development, offering a chance to propose innovative ideas and improvements within established frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fair Marketing & Brand Activation:
    • Assist in executing integrated marketing and activation campaigns aligned with global strategies.
    • Coordinate the development and quality assurance of marketing materials across various channels.
    • Support the delivery of fair-specific activations and on-site experiences in collaboration with internal teams and agencies.
    • Research and propose new formats and tools, ensuring alignment with emerging trends and audience behaviors.
  • Go-to-Market Execution:
    • Execute agreed-upon go-to-market strategies for upcoming exhibitions.
    • Lead campaign launches and peak moments by coordinating ticket-related marketing initiatives.
    • Manage marketing campaigns to achieve ticket sales revenue targets.
    • Oversee campaign timelines and milestones, proactively addressing risks and delays.
    • Track budget allocations for marketing initiatives, ensuring timely updates for decision-making.
  • Audience-Led Activation:
    • Execute always-on marketing initiatives to foster year-round engagement.
    • Support audience-focused testing and performance reporting of campaigns.
    • Use insights and data to inform all executions and strategic directions.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination:
    • Serve as the primary contact point for coordination across various teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
    • Facilitate feedback loops and approvals for seamless execution.
    • Play a critical role in on-site delivery during event preparations and execution.
  • Agency & Partner Coordination:
    • Oversee and manage external agencies and freelancers involved in marketing and activation.
    • Ensure that all deliverables adhere to set timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Experience & Profile

  • 4–7+ years of experience in marketing or brand activation, particularly in cultural or experience-led organizations.
  • Hands-on experience in executing large-scale events or live experiences.
  • Strong project management abilities, capable of leading complex projects and managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Comprehensive understanding of digital, social media, and experiential marketing.
  • Experience collaborating with agencies and cross-functional teams.
  • Attention to detail and brand consistency are paramount.
  • Fluency in English and German; French is an added advantage.
  • Eligibility to work in Switzerland or the EU, and willingness to travel as necessary.

  • Execute high-quality marketing plans on time for both Basel and Paris fairs.
  • Ensure seamless coordination among teams and partners.
  • Exhibit meticulous attention to detail and adherence to brand standards.
