Position Overview

We are in search of a seasoned professional to guide the architectural vision of our organization. This pivotal role entails the alignment of IT strategy with overarching business goals, the design of scalable and sustainable enterprise systems, and the maintenance of consistency and compliance across diverse technology platforms. Contributing significantly to the creation and implementation of an IT Target Operating Model, this position is essential for supporting our global sustainable growth.

Main Responsibilities

• Strategic Alignment: Ensure that technology decisions are in harmony with the organization's business strategy and objectives.
• Architecture Design: Create and uphold the enterprise architecture blueprint, covering business, information, application, and technology domains.
• Roadmapping: Develop and manage technology roadmaps that outline the progression of the IT landscape to meet future business needs.
• Technology Governance: Establish and enforce architecture principles, standards, and guidelines for IT projects.
• Innovation: Conduct research and evaluate new technologies to enhance business operations and pinpoint opportunities for innovation.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and vendors, to ensure alignment and effective execution.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with technology implementations, ensuring the security and compliance of IT systems.
• Digital Transformation: Lead and guide the organization through digital transformation initiatives, playing a vital role in the process.

Main Requirements

• University Degree in Informatics, alongside relevant further education.
• A minimum of 12 years of pertinent job experience.
• Comprehensive understanding of business strategy and IT architecture principles.
• Proven ability to drive and execute change with a hands-on approach.
• Experience in designing and implementing enterprise-level IT solutions.
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and leadership capabilities.
• Familiarity with various technologies such as cloud computing, data management, and security.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management practices.
• A strategic leader who connects business needs with technology solutions, propelling the digital evolution of the organization and ensuring long-term success.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in German is considered an advantage.

This role reports directly to the Head of IT.
