Lead Personal Lines Analytics and AI Initiatives

Role Overview

Act as a key leader in transforming personal lines insurance operations through data science and AI. The position requires a blend of deep domain expertise and technical proficiency to manage complex projects from initial concept through to production deployment. Candidates will engage in immediate interviews for a contract-to-permanent engagement lasting between six and twelve months.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements

• Bring over ten years of experience in analytics, data science, or AI, with a strong foundation in the insurance domain.
• Demonstrate a proven track record of taking machine learning and AI solutions from concept into production.
• Apply classical machine learning techniques, including GBMs, classification, propensity modeling, time series analysis, and explainability.
• Utilize Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) for RAG, document intelligence, copilots, summarization, and prompt and evaluation design.
• Implement agentic AI frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGen, along with tool orchestration.
• Manage MLOps and LLMOps processes using tools like MLflow, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring systems, and deployment patterns such as blue-green and canary releases.
• Work with cloud and data platforms including Azure, AWS, or GCP, as well as Databricks and Snowflake, utilizing Python, SQL, and PySpark.

Engagement Details

• Full-time commitment with a start date as soon as possible.
• Hybrid working arrangement requiring four days per week in the office at Tower Hill, London, United Kingdom.
• Fluent English proficiency is required.
