Your Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive verbal and written briefings on global weather developments through regular reports and presentations.
• Develop and enhance analytical tools to support trading strategies across various energy trading desks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including Risk, Origination, and Energy Markets Modelling, to conduct ad-hoc analysis related to meteorology, hydrology, and climatology.
• Stay updated on the latest academic research, forecasting technologies, and vendor products to ensure the provision of cutting-edge insights.

Your Qualifications

• A team-oriented, curious, and communicative professional with a focus on trading.
• At least 3 years of experience with weather-prediction models in collaborative environments.
• Strong foundational knowledge of energy fundamentals, particularly in electricity and gas markets, backed by a minimum of 3 years in related roles.
• Proficient in time series and data analysis techniques using Python or similar programming languages.
• A Master’s degree or higher in Meteorology, Hydrology, or a related scientific field.
• Fluent proficiency in English.
