Position Overview

Join a dynamic team in Switzerland, where you will be instrumental in shaping the future of generator hardware platforms for EDM (electro discharge) machines. This role emphasizes innovative design and development, underscoring your contributions to power, analog, and digital electronics.

Main Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain power, analog, and digital electronics for next-generation generator hardware platforms.
• Acquire and develop expertise in process control on EDM machines, troubleshooting, and process analysis, while closely collaborating with application development teams to resolve customer and field cases.
• Support component homologation, manage databases, and assist in purchasing activities for both new and second-source components.
• Work collaboratively with Production teams on test system development and pre-series activities.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards throughout the hardware development lifecycle.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering.
• A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in analog, power, and digital electronics design, with knowledge of VHDL and electronic simulation tools.
• Familiarity with measurement equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes, along with programming languages including C, C++, C#, and VB.net.
• Knowledge of Matlab/Simulink, as well as familiarity with FMEA and quality processes, is an advantage.
• Methodical and rigorous approach, strong team orientation, and a genuine passion for continuous improvement.
• Fluency in Italian and proficiency in technical English (both oral and written).
