Key Responsibilities

  • Design, plan, perform, interpret, and report results of scientific experiments crucial for drug product formulation and manufacturing processes.
  • Lead and manage local project activities; support team members and participate in multifunctional project teams to contribute to overarching development strategies.
  • Conduct experimental work related to formulation and process development for oligonucleotides or RLT.
  • Address problems effectively through communication and perform literature searches when needed.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of laboratory instruments and support the transfer of processes to non-GMP and GMP manufacturing facilities.
  • Review and approve batch documentation; assist with deviations and ensure compliance with established standards.
  • Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations and guidelines.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in parenteral product development.

Essential Skills

  • Technical Knowledge: Expertise in parenteral drug product formulation and process development, along with familiarity in oligonucleotide and peptide therapeutics and radioligand therapies. Proficient with laboratory techniques such as lyophilization, spray drying, and analytical equipment.
  • Scientific and Analytical Skills: Ability to design and document experiments, troubleshoot findings, and perform literature searches.
  • Process Development: Knowledge of transferring processes to GMP and non-GMP facilities and reviewing batch documentation.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Comfortable working within multifunctional teams, contributing to collective goals.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written skills, capable of clearly presenting ideas and drafting scientific documents.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with relevant software tools and computer systems used in laboratory settings.
  • Compliance Awareness: Commitment to adhering to HSE standards to promote a safe and efficient working environment.

Language Proficiency

  • Fluency in English (both spoken and written) is essential.
