Your Responsibilities
- Conduct high-quality research in the field of strategic communication.
- Complete a dissertation within a timeframe of three to six years.
- Participate in academic conferences and contribute to publications in esteemed academic journals.
- Collaborate on existing projects and innovate new initiatives within the Strategic Communication & Media Management team.
- Engage in research and instructional activities in areas such as strategic communication and sustainable/environmental communication.
- Teach one course per semester aligned with your research interests in our undergraduate programs.
- Pursue further academic qualifications to enhance expertise.
- Manage organizational and administrative tasks efficiently.
Your Profile
- Possession of an excellent Master's degree in Communication Science or a pertinent field.
- Demonstrated interest in strategic communication along with related areas, including organizational communication, corporate communication, public relations, or investor relations.
- Strong inclination towards sustainability, management, strategy, finance, public affairs, and related topics.
- Experience with both quantitative and qualitative methodologies, particularly in data analysis (e.g., content analysis, surveys, experiments, interviews), along with initial exposure to computational methods.
- Proficiency in R and/or Python.
- Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written.
- A scientific and inquisitive mindset, attention to detail, reliability in work, independence, excellent collaborative skills, and robust time and project management abilities.
- Willingness to relocate to Zurich and engage in international travel to connect with relevant scientific communities.
