Role Expectations

Summer Camp staff play a vital role in embodying the values and ethos of Aiglon and the Summer Camp. We expect staff members to actively engage in camp life, fostering a positive atmosphere where every participant feels safe and welcomed.

Mission Overview

Aiming to provide an inspiring and hands-on experience in DJing and music production, we seek individuals who can share their expertise with students through engaging activities that ignite creativity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct DJ-focused social evenings in 120-minute sessions, which will include:
    • A live DJ set.
    • Mixing fundamentals: crafting playlists and beat-matching tracks.
    • DJ controls and effects: utilizing EQ knobs and audio effects like delay and reverb.
    • Turntable techniques: including scratching and beat juggling.
    • Rhythm and performance skills, incorporating finger drumming and rhythm exercises.
    • Comprehensive explanations of DJ techniques.
    • Facilitating student interaction and hands-on practice while maintaining a dynamic session.
  • Ensure that all sessions are fully supervised, utilizing professional equipment in a safe and structured environment.
  • Provide students with an engaging introduction to DJing, nurturing their musical listening, rhythm, and collaborative skills. The aim is to create a memorable and interactive experience that embodies both creativity and professionalism.
  • Lead one evening session per week from 29th June to 27th July 2026.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Perform any other reasonable tasks assigned by the Director of Summer Camp to facilitate the smooth operation of the program.
  • Comprehend and adhere to all school policies and procedures, particularly those relating to child safeguarding.
  • Embrace the school’s Guiding Principles and consistently uphold the institution's ethos.
