Position Overview

In this role, you will be instrumental in defining the global direction for the Apparel and Accessories line, ensuring end-to-end accountability for development and scalability. Your mission is to foster commercial growth while positioning the brand as a leader in premium activewear.

Your Responsibilities

  • Strategic Development: Define and evolve the global merchandising strategy, including channel roles and pricing logic, ensuring alignment with long-term brand objectives.
  • Global Assortment Ownership: Collaborate with Regional Merchandising teams to create a balanced assortment that maintains global consistency while being regionally relevant.
  • Financial Leadership: Lead the global merchandise financial planning process, focusing on inventory efficiency, SKU productivity, and supporting profitable growth initiatives.
  • Collaboration: Partner closely with marketing, creative, and visual merchandising teams to enhance seasonal storytelling and ensure impactful execution across all consumer touchpoints.
  • Capability Building: Build and lead the global merchandising organization, enhancing strategic thinking and commercial decision-making across teams.

Qualifications

  • Over 10 years of experience in merchandising, specifically within premium activewear or elevated performance apparel brands.
  • A proven track record of effective operations at scale, balancing brand desirability with commercial discipline.
  • International experience, particularly in key regions such as EMEA, North America, and Asia-Pacific, with an understanding of diverse consumer behaviors.
  • Strong commercial acumen, able to make informed decisions amidst ambiguity.
  • Expertise in retail math and KPIs across various channels, including retail, eCommerce, and wholesale.
  • A dynamic leader passionate about developing talent and raising industry standards.
  • A keen sense of taste and understanding of visual merchandising, enabling the development of appealing assortments.
  • Strategic thinker capable of independently setting direction and seeing concepts through to execution.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, able to influence and align stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
