Key Responsibilities

• Define and guide the multi-year strategy for scalable AI systems and platforms across research.
• Oversee and build multidisciplinary teams responsible for delivering production-grade AI systems.
• Establish reference architectures to support agentic systems, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
• Standardize enterprise platforms with reusable components, workflows, and robust evaluation frameworks.
• Develop and enforce machine learning operations standards to maintain high quality.
• Lead initiatives for agent safety engineering, including policy enforcement and failure detection.
• Implement strategies for scalable deployment, balancing performance and cost-effectiveness.
• Set performance metrics that align system efficacy with scientific outcomes.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to prioritize impactful AI initiatives and enhance resource efficiency.

Essential Qualifications

• Extensive experience in leading machine learning initiatives across various drug discovery domains.
• Strong background in applying machine learning to areas such as computational chemistry.
• Expertise in high-performance computing and distributed systems for large model training.
• Passion for biomedical sciences and therapeutic discovery.
• Ability to communicate complex machine learning concepts to diverse audiences.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in machine learning solution development.
• Proficient in Python and deep learning frameworks, with experience in version control systems.
• Skilled in navigating complex environments to deliver results.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in developing enterprise-scale agentic platforms with advanced system capabilities.
• Knowledge of machine learning operations regarding large-scale model deployment.
