Your Responsibilities
Safety & Compliance
- Champion a proactive safety culture in alignment with company and regulatory policies.
- Ensure the effective implementation and continuous improvement of the Safety Management System (SMS).
- Enforce adherence to safety, hygiene, and environmental protection protocols, including the proper handling of hazardous materials.
Operational Excellence
- Ensure compliance with maintenance procedures, company policies, and customer contracts.
- Oversee aircraft servicing to maintain operational airworthiness and ensure punctual departures.
- Plan and coordinate manpower, materials, and tools for seamless operations.
- Implement and advocate for LEAN practices, including Continuous Improvement and 5S methodology.
Team Leadership
- Supervise station staff, aligning task assignments with individual skills.
- Foster team spirit, punctuality, discipline, and professionalism.
- Conduct Personal Management Process reviews and documentation for direct reports.
- Ensure effective shift handovers and promote open communication across all organizational levels.
Administration & Communication
- Support the Station Manager with clear reporting and operational oversight.
- Participate in customer-related calls and meetings, representing the station with professionalism.
- Maintain accurate time management records in compliance with company policy.
- Execute additional administrative duties as detailed in the MOD activities distribution list.
Your Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a licensed aircraft engineer.
- Current on A320.
- Prior leadership experience in a supervisory or similar role.
- Proven expertise in managing manpower and resources effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to address operational issues and propose solutions.
- Strong knowledge of health, safety, and quality procedures.
- Proficient in English at B2/C1 level (verbal and written).
- Fluent in French at B2/C1 level (verbal and written).
- Exhibits a customer-centric mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to operate effectively under pressure in fast-paced environments.
