We are seeking an exceptional individual with extensive expertise in multi-jurisdictional and multi-court dispute resolution. The ideal candidate will possess a wealth of experience managing international legal teams and navigating complex negotiations across various legal landscapes.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage teams of subordinates engaged in dispute resolution.
- Lead international legal teams in high-stakes negotiations and settlements.
- Collaborate with external professional legal advisers on disputes in London and/or New York courts.
- Coordinate efforts with professional public relations firms to enhance case strategies.
- Develop winning litigation strategies backed by successful outcomes in significant cases.
- Manage international investigations and advisory projects with a focus on effective resolution.
- Leverage a deep understanding of the international legal market in the western hemisphere.
- Provide financial oversight and analysis, ensuring compliance with IAS, IFRS, and US GAAP standards.
Professional Experience
- A minimum of 20 years in the field of multi-jurisdictional dispute resolution across diverse regions.
- Proven history of managing substantial teams, including legal experts and external advisers.
- Demonstrated track record of at least three successful high-value cases, each exceeding USD 100 million.
- A minimum of 20 years in managing international investigative and advisory firms.
- Experience in asset recovery is advantageous.
Qualifications
- A degree in engineering, technical fields, or similar disciplines with top tier grades.
Language Proficiency
- Fluency in English or French at a C1 level
- Fluency in Arabic, Indian languages, or Russian at a C1 level is an asset
