Opportunity Overview

Our Business Consulting team specializes in offering comprehensive functional and cross-country services within the Financial Services sector, focusing on Wealth & Asset Management, Banking and Capital Markets, and Insurance. As the Financial Services industry undergoes significant transformation, this is an opportune time to join a team dedicated to guiding clients through evolving market challenges and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pursue business-led, tech-enabled transformation initiatives across the Financial Services sector.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, business partners, and multi-disciplinary teams to shape ideas, design solutions, and deliver measurable improvements in business performance.
  • Utilize storytelling skills to present recommendations clearly and analytically to clients.
  • Leverage and further develop global EY methodologies, frameworks, and tools to meet various transformation goals.
  • Enhance skills through client experience and internal training opportunities.
  • Facilitate internal and external roundtables and thought leadership sessions.
  • Support go-to-market and business development initiatives for delivering valuable solutions to clients.

Skills and Attributes

  • Strong academic performance from a leading university or university of applied sciences.
  • Motivation to thrive in a dynamic consulting environment within the financial services sector.
  • Experience in team-based projects, gained through university or internships.
  • Curiosity and ability to structure problems in a systematic manner.
  • Strong presentation skills and client-oriented mindset.
  • A collaborative spirit, eager to support solutions within diverse teams across functions and geographies.
  • Fluency in English and German; proficiency in Swiss German or other languages is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Initial work experience in consulting or Financial Services (e.g., internships, working student roles).
  • Experience or interest in Target Operating Model (TOM) design and process improvements.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Design Thinking methodologies.
  • Interest in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) matters.
