The Opportunity
The EY Business Consulting team provides a comprehensive range of functional and cross-country services, offering trusted advice to clients in the Financial Services industry, including Wealth & Asset Management, Banking and Capital Markets, and Insurance sectors. As the industry experiences significant change and faces new challenges, now is an exciting time to join our evolving team to assist clients in navigating these shifts.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Pursuing innovative business-led, tech-enabled transformation initiatives across the Financial Services sector.
- Collaborating with key stakeholders, business partners, and multi-disciplinary teams to shape ideas, design solutions, and drive measurable improvements in business performance.
- Utilizing storytelling skills to present recommendations to clients in a clear and analytical manner.
- Leveraging and enhancing our global EY methodologies, frameworks, tools, and enablers for diverse transformation goals.
- Developing skills through on-the-job experiences and various internal training programs.
- Facilitating internal and external topic roundtables and thought leadership sessions.
- Contributing to go-to-market and business development initiatives to continuously deliver valuable solutions for clients.
Skills and Attributes for Success
- Excellent academic performance from a leading university or university of applied sciences.
- Strong motivation to engage in a dynamic consulting environment within the Financial Services sector.
- Experience in team-based projects, whether during university or internships.
- A curious mind with the ability to analyze and structure problems systematically.
- Strong presentation skills coupled with a client-oriented attitude.
- A proactive team player willing to support solutions across motivated and diverse teams.
- Fluency in English and German is required; Swiss German and other languages are an advantage.
Ideally, You Will Also Possess
- Initial work experience in consulting or Financial Services (e.g., internships or entry-level positions).
- Experience and/or interest in Target Operating Model (TOM) design and process improvements.
- Familiarity with Agile and Design Thinking methodologies.
- Interest in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors.
