We are looking for a creative individual to join us in enhancing our communication, outreach, and online presence as we embark on a crucial mission to address global challenges.

About Us

NADEL is dedicated to fostering educational programs and events focused on global cooperation and sustainable development, aimed at ETH students, professionals, and the Swiss public. We collaborate closely with various Swiss organizations within the sustainable development sector.

ETH4D is an initiative that unites over 60 research groups from diverse fields—including engineering, natural sciences, and social sciences—working together with partners in industry, policy, and civil society to foster innovations that contribute to global solutions and promote educational collaborations within Africa.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the layout, design, and copy-editing of media information and research briefs.
• Develop and execute digital strategies for NADEL and ETH4D’s websites, newsletters, and social media platforms.
• Create compelling text and visual content to engage audiences effectively.
• Assist with NADEL’s podcast and video series, enhancing our outreach capabilities.
• Plan, organize, and manage events to promote engagement and learning opportunities.
• Support the publication process for NADEL outputs and expand our professional network.

Qualifications

• Degree in communication, journalism, media studies, public relations, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in communications or public relations.
• Strong background in content creation, digital communication, and social media platforms such as LinkedIn and Instagram.
• Exceptional writing and editing proficiency in English, with German and French considered a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines with a proactive and organized approach.
• Independently driven with graphic design skills and video/visual content creation being advantageous.
• Familiarity with the international cooperation sector and experience in an academic environment are pluses.
