What to Expect

In this role, you will be a key player in leading Fill Finish (and Device Assembly) projects with a primary focus on fill & finish operations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Representing the Fill Finish Pilot Plant in collaboration with the Drug Product Development group and the Drug Delivery Systems group, while ensuring timely clinical supplies with the supply management team.
• Ensuring that all manufacturing relevant information and technical capabilities are in place for the operations team to produce Drug Products and Device Assemblies in compliance with GxP, EHS, and business requirements.
• Ensuring timely plant readiness and supporting the operations team in executing experimental and clinical activities.
• Overseeing the timely delivery of clinical materials to Pack & Label sites, both internal and external.
• Managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, serving as the single point of contact between the organization and the pilot plant facility.
• Providing necessary pilot plant input and requirements.
• Sourcing raw materials and components as needed.
• Ensuring that manufacturing processes align with agreed-upon platforms and are scalable and transferable to commercial operations.
• Supporting planning, execution, and documentation efforts, including protocols, reports, and memos.
• Assisting with investigations, CAPAs, and change controls as assigned, while performing critical raw data review for key documents.
• Forecasting and monitoring actual spending versus budget.
• Maintaining compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Your Strengths

To thrive in this position, you should possess the following qualifications:

• A degree in Pharmaceutical, Biochemical, Chemical Sciences, or a related field, with 3+ years of relevant experience or 1+ year with a PhD.
• Experience in biologics drug product development and/or device assembly is an advantage.
• Familiarity with biopharmaceutical process design and technology transfer is beneficial.
• Hands-on experience in Fill & Finish operations or device assembly is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and project leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in German is a plus.
