Opportunity Overview

Are you passionate about cloud technology and eager to make a real impact? We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Azure Cloud Engineer with expertise in Infrastructure as Code and a structured problem-solving mindset. You will quickly master and manage our unique dual-cloud environment, including the exclusive "Sovereign Cloud Switzerland" platform and regional cloud workloads.

You will play a key role throughout the entire lifecycle of our cloud platforms, driving continuous improvement with a strong focus on automation and operational excellence, leveraging emerging AI technologies where appropriate. Collaborate closely with our business teams to seamlessly integrate new applications, enhancing efficiency and productivity. Additionally, you will have access to the extensive knowledge and resources of a leading global organization.

Your Impact

• Develop and manage the technical capabilities of our cloud operations team in Switzerland.
• Build and maintain the cloud platform while supporting multiple Azure solutions to meet business needs.
• Collect and exchange best-practice knowledge among our international cloud teams.
• Develop and maintain automation solutions to deploy platform and application workloads.
• Monitor and manage technical escalations for cloud operations, identifying new tools and practices to enhance our cloud platform.

Ideal Candidate Attributes

• Excellent communication skills with a proactive approach to collaboration, ensuring smooth and efficient project execution.
• Curiosity and adaptability to new technologies, combined with a passion for learning and sharing knowledge with team members.
• Certification as an Azure Admin Associate (AZ-104) and an Azure DevOps Expert (AZ-400); additional certifications in cloud architecture, system administration, or development are considered a great asset.
• Experience with automation and provisioning approaches, using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Bicep, Bash, PowerShell, Python, and C#.
• In-depth knowledge of configuring and managing Windows and Linux environments, as well as experience with infrastructure in Azure and on-premises data centers.
• Familiarity with agile software development tools and methodologies.
