Join a Dynamic Team in Social Cohesion Oversight

The Unit for Control, Audit and Investigations (UCAE) within the Directorate General for Social Cohesion (DGCS) is a proactive and vibrant team composed of approximately ten dedicated professionals engaged in supervising our services. We are currently seeking an individual to contribute to fulfilling our important missions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct audit mandates for implementing authorities concerning social action and other subsidized entities, ensuring compliance with funding conditions (individual aid and grants), legal and contractual usage of subsidies, and governance adequacy.
  • Perform financial control and ensure conformity with normative and contractual frameworks for reporting from subsidized entities.
  • Support Directors and other transversal units within the DGCS in their internal control tasks related to subsidized entities, as well as in executing recommendations made by supervisory authorities.

Required Qualifications

  • Holder of a diploma in business administration, economics from a University or HES, or a federal diploma as a financial and controlling expert, or an equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting review, auditing, or management control.
  • Strong knowledge of various audit methodologies and social security regulations.
  • Proficiency in management and office software tools, as well as database systems.
  • Ability to work under stress, effectively managing time and priorities.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Developed sense of responsibility and commitment to public service ethics.
  • Excellent analytical and synthesis skills, coupled with a strong sense of perspective.
