Your Key Responsibilities

• Support the audit of consolidated and annual financial statements for national and international large companies and SMEs, with a spotlight on PCAOB reporting requirements.
• Assess processes and internal controls in key business areas using an integrated audit approach, including validating a functioning control environment (SOX).
• Collaborate with managers and lead auditors to report audit results to boards of directors and management.
• Serve as a primary contact for clients and continuously strengthen client relationships.
• Manage a multidisciplinary team, offering professional leadership and facilitating the on-the-job training and development of team members.
• Drive the digitalization of on-site auditing, ensuring an efficient and value-added audit service for clients.

Skills and Attributes for Success

Your qualifications include:

• A successful certification as a public accountant or US CPA is essential.
• Experience in auditing and evaluating internal control systems in accordance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX 404).
• Expertise in conducting audits for PCAOB companies following US GAAP or IFRS standards.
• Experience with audits of SEC foreign private issuers.
• Relevant work experience, preferably within a Big4 firm.
• A commitment to integrity, respect, and teamwork as your core values.
• Energy, enthusiasm, and the courage to take on leadership roles.
• A strong affinity for numbers, coupled with a motivation to enhance your skills in modern data analysis methods.
• Adept at interpersonal relations, whether engaging with clients or collaborating with team members.
• Comfortable in an international setting, with fluency in English; German language skills can be an advantage.
