About Us

Our Actuarial team is committed to providing comprehensive actuarial support across various domains, including life, non-life, and health insurance, as well as reinsurance. We collaborate frequently with other teams within Audit & Assurance, along with lines of service such as Strategy, Risk & Transactions Advisory, and Technology & Transformation, particularly on large-scale finance projects.

Your Role

As a vital part of an experienced project team, you will take on day-to-day responsibilities to deliver reliable solutions, helping our clients navigate global challenges effectively.

Your Impact

  • Support insurance clients in their finance transformation journey, specifically on IFRS 17/9 implementation and the automation of actuarial processes.
  • Advise life, non-life, and health insurance companies on regulatory matters including the Swiss Solvency Test and Solvency II.
  • Assist in actuarial audit and review for (re)insurers in accordance with local and international accounting standards (IFRS, US-GAAP).
  • Develop actuarial methodology and conduct hands-on actuarial modelling to address complex challenges in life and non-life insurance.
  • Provide ad-hoc actuarial support for due diligence or M&A project work related to pensions and insurance companies.

Who You Are

  • You possess a University degree (ETH or University) in actuarial science, mathematics, physics, economics, or a similar quantitative field.
  • You are either a recent graduate or bring up to two years of experience in an actuarial position within the insurance industry or consulting.
  • You demonstrate a willingness to pursue a professional actuarial qualification (e.g., "Actuary SAA").
  • You have strong analytical and communication skills, coupled with a genuine eagerness to learn and make a meaningful difference.
  • You are fluent in both spoken and written German and English.
