To further develop our customer base, ensure their success, and pursue new activities in the EMEA region, we are expanding our team of Application Scientists in Zurich.

Your Role

In this position, you will work closely with our users by assuming an active, technical involvement in sales and business development activities. You will engage with existing and prospective accounts, gain deep insights into both our market and customers, and contribute to our mutual success.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage in technical discussions with new customers to support test and measurement sales in the EMEA region.
• Ensure application-specific support and drive customer success.
• Nurture an active network within the research community.
• Represent Zurich Instruments at trade shows and community-specific conferences.
• Understand technical requirements from customers and communicate them to product management and RnD.

Required Profile

• Ph.D. in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a similar field related to the application areas of our instruments.
• Hands-on experience with control and measurement instrumentation, including RF electronics.
• Proficiency in programming lab equipment and experiments.
• Experience in sales and business development in academic and industrial markets is a plus.
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills; fluency in English is mandatory.
• Willingness to travel 30% of the time.
