Your Contributions

In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the timely execution of assembly, maintenance, and repair tasks, adhering strictly to work instructions and quality processes. You will play a key role in documenting all sub-assembly and final assembly activities, as well as maintenance tasks involving aircraft, payloads, and other products. Additionally, you will be responsible for proposing root cause analyses and corrective actions for products and systems.

Main Responsibilities

  • Conduct incoming goods inspections and testing, as well as engage in sub-assembly and final assembly of aircraft, accessories, and payloads.
  • Execute scheduled and non-scheduled aircraft maintenance, both at Swiss headquarters and globally.
  • Perform non-scheduled aircraft repair work, including sub-systems removal, installation, replacements, and subsequent testing at various locations.
  • Ensure all pre- and post-flight maintenance checks are completed, documented, and appropriately signed off.
  • Maintain all Ground Support Equipment (GSE) in a serviceable condition to support daily flight operations.
  • Prepare for the transportation of aircraft, payloads, and other equipment, ensuring compliance with Dangerous Goods requirements.
  • Assist in the preparation of aircraft, Ground Control Stations (GCS), and data transmission systems, along with maintenance and flight preparations, including support for external pilots as required.
  • Act as a Technician instructor for internal and/or external training programs.
  • Support root cause analysis and fault diagnosis utilizing test equipment, implementing approved corrective actions to resolve identified issues.
  • Report on tasks executed as needed for HR, Finance, or Quality purposes.

Your Profile

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A completed technical education.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a technician with either manned or unmanned aircraft, demonstrating thorough knowledge of aircraft assembly and maintenance work requirements.
  • A solid understanding of complex mechanical, mechatronic, and electrical systems.
  • A process-oriented mindset with structured work methods.
  • A sense of responsibility combined with good technical understanding and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English, both oral and written; knowledge of German is desirable.
