Role Overview
We are seeking a permanent, part-time adviser to support the Executive Vice President of Imperatives in developing a strategic approach to our initiatives in China.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide support to the WBCSD EVP overseeing the China Regional Program, leveraging extensive networks and experience.
- Advise on potential member engagement opportunities within the China program.
- Facilitate regular planning discussions and coordination meetings among staff focused on China initiatives, representing the EVP.
- Engage in primarily virtual collaboration and team discussions.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
- Strong understanding of the Chinese business environment, including State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) and Private-Owned Enterprises (POEs).
- Proven experience in international business and sustainability, with a solid grasp of WBCSD's objectives.
- In-depth knowledge of China’s sustainability and policy landscape, and its impact on both Chinese and international companies.
- Fluency in both Chinese and English.
Position Details
This position is a permanent, part-time role based in Geneva, requiring minimal travel to China. WBCSD champions diversity across gender, nationalities, and professional backgrounds, with headquarters in Geneva and offices spanning Amsterdam, London, Singapore, Wuhan, Chicago, and New York.
