Your Impact

In this position, you will prepare corporate actuarial analyses and support team members in their tasks. Engaging in discussions with business units and maintaining connections with other departments will be crucial. You will provide project support through documentation and testing of deliverables while addressing future challenges related to regulatory compliance and capital optimization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance actuarial approaches, tools, and processes to align with various regulatory regimes and accounting standards.
  • Build and maintain stochastic actuarial models for reserving and insurance risk modeling analysis.
  • Conduct reserving analysis for various P&C corporate risks adhering to different accounting standards.
  • Collaborate with business and finance areas to understand impacts on actuarial drivers within financials.
  • Support projects such as internal model validation through thorough documentation and testing.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a P&C actuary.
  • Familiarity with Swiss Solvency Test and internal model validation.
  • Extensive computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office, strong R/Python skills, or some ReMetrica experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and teamwork competencies with an ability to think cross-departmentally.
  • Knowledge of reinsurance and accounting practices is advantageous.
  • Preferably a qualified actuary or actively progressing towards qualification.
  • Willingness to learn and explore how AI can enhance your role and the organization.
