Your Contributions

In this role, you will influence corporate actuarial analyses while supporting colleagues in various initiatives. Engaging in discussions across business units, maintaining connections with CFO departments and group functions, and offering documentation and testing support for project deliverables will be key aspects of your responsibilities. You will also address pressing challenges related to Swiss Solvency Test, Solvency II, and Bermuda Solvency regulations, contributing to capital optimization efforts and participating in strategic business steering initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance actuarial methodologies, tools, and processes to align with various regulatory regimes and accounting standards.
  • Build and maintain stochastic actuarial models for reserving and insurance risk modeling analyses.
  • Conduct reserving analyses across P&C Corporate risks and different accounting standards.
  • Foster collaboration with business and CFO areas to assess the financial impacts of actuarial drivers.
  • Support projects, including internal model validation through documentation and testing.

Your Profile

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience as a P&C actuary.
  • Familiarity with Swiss Solvency Test and capital modeling.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and strong skills in R/Python, with knowledge of ReMetrica preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills, capable of understanding complex (re)insurance group dynamics.
  • Knowledge of reinsurance and accounting practices is advantageous.
  • Actuarial qualifications or actively working towards them.
  • A willingness to learn and explore AI advancements in your role and the organization.
