Uniworld Boutique River Cruises operates a fleet of eleven intimate, boutique river cruise ships exclusively catering to English-speaking clients, navigating the beautiful European waterways.

Key Responsibilities

• Navigating the ship in accordance with company guidelines and safety regulations.
• Ensuring the safety of all passengers and crew on board.
• Maintaining the ships during the sailing season as well as in winter.
• Professionally managing the Nautical Team.
• Communicating effectively on board with the Hotel Manager and Cruise Manager.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Experience in a similar role on the Rhine-Main-Danube waterways.
• Familiarity with Z-Drive systems is an advantage, but not mandatory.
• Possession of a license valid for the Rhine until Mainz and/or the Danube.
• Innovative, flexible, and a proactive leader, as well as a team player.
• Fluency in German and/or English with strong communication skills.
• Proficient in computer applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• A willingness to learn and grow within the role.
